🚀 Founding Vision
Dynamist Motorsports Private Limited was founded in March 2016 in New Delhi, India, by a group of passionate engineers and motorsport enthusiasts led by Er. Aman Kumar Singh, and later joined by Er. Rahul Kumar. The company was born out of a shared vision: to create a platform where engineering innovation, motorsport culture, and sustainable mobility could converge. At a time when motorsport in India was largely limited to elite circles and conventional formats, Dynamist aimed to democratize access to motorsport engineering—especially for students and young professionals—while pushing the boundaries of electric and solar vehicle technology.
The name “Dynamist” itself reflects the company’s ethos: dynamic thinking, energetic execution, and a commitment to motion—both mechanical and social.
🏁 Early Years
In its initial phase (2016), Dynamist Motorsports focused on building credibility and technical infrastructure. The team began by organizing small scale events using race tracks for motorsport events. During this period, the company also began collaborating with colleges and technical institutions, offering workshops and mentorship programs to introduce students to motorsport engineering. These early engagements laid the foundation for Dynamist’s long-term commitment to youth empowerment and hands-on learning.
🔧 Technical Expansion: EV & Solar Integration
From 2016 onward, Dynamist Motorsports began expanding its scope beyond event execution into electric vehicle (EV) design and solar mobility. Recognizing the global shift toward clean energy and sustainable transportation, the company invested in R&D for solar-powered vehicles and electric drivetrains. This led to the conceptualization and launch of the National Solar Vehicle Challenge (NSVC)—a flagship event that invites student teams from across India to design, build, and race solar-powered vehicles.
The NSVC quickly gained traction, attracting participation from hundreds of colleges and thousands of students. It became a proving ground for innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence, and positioned Dynamist as a leader in solar mobility education.
Simultaneously, the company began developing its own EV prototypes, focusing on power transmission, battery management, and terrain adaptability. Engineers like Aditya Bibhashi, Abhishek Bharadwaj and Malhotra Amit Rakesh contributed their expertise in automation, energy storage, and charging systems, helping Dynamist Motorsports build vehicles that were not only race-ready but also aligned with real-world sustainability goals.
🌍 National Footprint & Industry Engagement
Between 2019 and 2022, Dynamist Motorsports expanded its footprint across India, executing over 5 motorsport events and collaborating with engineering firms, government bodies, and multinational corporations. The company’s work with other industrial clients brought a new level of professionalism and technical depth to its operations.
Dynamist also began engaging with global clients and partners, exploring opportunities in clean mobility, EV infrastructure, and motorsport education. The company’s ability to blend grassroots innovation with industry-grade engineering made it a sought-after collaborator in both academic and commercial circles.
💡 Innovation & Mentorship Culture
One of the defining features of Dynamist’s evolution has been its mentorship-driven culture. The company doesn’t just build vehicles or tracks—it builds people. Senior engineers regularly mentor student teams, conduct training sessions, and guide young professionals through the complexities of motorsport engineering.
This culture of learning and collaboration has led to the emergence of a strong alumni network, with former participants going on to work in leading automotive, energy, and tech firms. Many return to Dynamist as volunteers, or collaborators—creating a virtuous cycle of growth and innovation.
📈 Resilience & Adaptation
Like any growing organization, Dynamist Motorsports has faced challenges—logistical hurdles, funding constraints, and the need to constantly adapt to evolving technologies. However, the company’s resilience has been one of its greatest strengths. Whether navigating the COVID-19 pandemic or transitioning to virtual event formats, Dynamist has consistently found ways to innovate and deliver value.
The company’s ability to pivot—from physical races to virtual design challenges, from combustion engines to solar drivetrains—reflects its dynamic DNA and commitment to staying ahead of the curve.
🔮 Looking Ahead
As Dynamist Motorsports is entering its second decade, its focus is sharper than ever. The company aims to:
- Expand NSVC into a cross country event and further moving to be an international event
- Develop modular EV platforms for education and commercial use
- Integrate AI and smart telemetry into vehicle systems
- Build permanent motorsport infrastructure across India
- Collaborate with global partners in clean mobility and technical education
With a strong foundation, a visionary team, and a growing community of engineers and enthusiasts, Dynamist is poised to lead the next wave of motorsport innovation in India and beyond.
